SATs results and performance

School and College Performance Tables are produced by the Department for Education (DfE) and published online each year in December.

As well as providing information on the achievements of pupils at KS2, they also allow comparison with similar schools, both in the Local Authority (LA) and across England.  In addition, they provide details on the school’s expenditure and staffing.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the government cancelled external examinations meaning there are no academic results for the years 2020 or 2021. Throughout this time, and across any school year, the school undertakes rigorous internal assessment and performance data for each pupil can be obtained from the class teacher.

Our data is significantly impacted by the size of the cohort and the level of special educational need within each group. Unlike a full school with classes of 30, where each pupil isn’t such a significant percentage, results in smaller schools are very much cohort dependent. For us, pupils continue to perform in line with, and above, their predictions.
